Course recipients

The training is aimed at participants (graduates and diploma holders in technical disciplines) who possess basic notions on data acquisition and analysis, in the field of noise and vibration.

Purpose of the course

The course is theoretical/practical in nature and enables participants to acquire, without any prior knowledge of the instrument, complete autonomy and mastery in the advanced use of ArtemiS SUITE software, for the acquisition and analysis of vibroacoustic quantities.

Training method

In addition to theoretical training, practical exercises on some of the provided recordings will be offered, so that participants can become familiar with the ArtemiS suite, in managing recordings, performing and interpreting analyses, and preparing effective and impactful reports.

Operational Objectives

• Understand the interface of Artemis SUITE
• Create from scratch a data analysis project
• Create graphs in the most effective way, both for the data analysis phase, and for their communication
• Become familiar with the main analysis methods, used in the NVH field
• Analyze a recording, for the purpose of Sound Quality assessments, with advanced playback and filtering
• Perform calculations on acquired magnitudes and set target curves
• Set up, perform and monitor a recording of vibroacoustic magnitudes with ArtemiS SUITE
• Quickly and effectively create PowerPoint presentations, with the analyses performed

Notes

For more effective use of the course, participants should come with in their PCs, with ArtemiS SUITE software installed. A temporary dongle will be provided to all participants, to enable them to use all the necessary modules for the acquisitions and analyses provided in the application part of the training.

Scopo del corso

Il corso ha carattere teorico/pratico e consente ai partecipanti di acquisire, senza alcuna conoscenza pregressa dello strumento, completa autonomia e padronanza nell’uso avanzato del software ArtemiS SUITE, per l’acquisizione e l’analisi di grandezze vibroacustiche.

Metodo formativo

Oltre alla formazione teorica, saranno proposte esercitazioni pratiche su alcune registrazioni fornite, in modo da permettere ai partecipanti di familiarizzare con la suite ArtemiS, nella gestione delle registrazioni, nell’effettuazione e interpretazione delle analisi e nella preparazione di report efficaci e d’impatto.

Obiettivi operativi

• Comprendere l’interfaccia di Artemis SUITE
• Creare da zero un progetto di analisi dati
• Creare grafici nel modo più efficace, sia per la fase di analisi dei dati, sia per la loro comunicazione
• Acquisire familiarità con i principali metodi di analisi, utilizzati in campo NVH
• Analizzare una registrazione, ai fini di valutazioni di Sound Quality, con playback e filtraggi avanzati
• Effettuare calcoli sulle grandezze acquisite e impostare curve di target
• Impostare, effettuare e monitorare una registrazione di grandezze vibroacustiche con ArtemiS SUITE
• Creare velocemente ed efficacemente presentazioni PowerPoint, con le analisi effettuate

Note

Per una più efficace fruizione del corso, i partecipanti dovranno presentarsi con in loro PC, con installato il software ArtemiS SUITE. Una chiavetta dongle temporanea sarà fornita a tutti i partecipanti, per permettere loro di utilizzare tutti i moduli necessari per le acquisizioni e le analisi previste nella parte applicativa della formazione.
