The established software for sound and vibration analysis ArtemiS SUITE from HEAD acoustics offers many new possibilities that save time and costs through innovation.

Sound power measurements of a new generation

Release 14 revolutionizes the sound power determination of your products according to DIN EN ISO 9614-1 - moving away from manual measurement and measurement preparation to an efficient virtual solution with augmented reality glasses that makes the required sound intensity measurements more fascinating and easy than ever before.

This is made possible by a jointly developed new interface of ArtemiS SUITE to the software solution Sound HUB, for which our partner HoloMetrix was awarded the German Innovation Award 2022 in Gold. Intuitive assistance functions of the software use augmented reality to guide even inexperienced users safely through the entire measurement procedure and visualize the measurement progress as well as the measurement results of the segments. In combination with the sound intensity tool of ArtemiS SUITE, you can now measure sound intensities to determine the sound power or create sound intensity maps for quick source localization using AR glasses and a virtual, standard-compliant measurement grid superimposed on the real test object. This saves immense time and costs, as the time-consuming preparations of the measurements in the form of the production of physical measurement grids from subframes with wires or the manual measurement of the probe position are completely eliminated. Instead, users position the measuring probe simply, safely and precisely with the aid of the virtual measuring grid.

For sound power determination according to the relevant standards from the ISO 3740 series, which is based on sound pressure measurements, HEAD acoustics has now introduced separate analyses for the K1 background noise correction and the K2 environmental correction. This allows these correction steps in sound power determination to be automated directly during measurement. This increases the efficiency and quality of your measurement results.

Simply work better with innovative structural analysis tools

The new release of ArtemiS SUITE also offers further developed, innovative structural analysis tools that will make your work easier and more efficient in the future. For example, it is now possible to correct the local coordinate systems of your measurement data, which is relevant when importing data from other systems or when correcting errors. The MAC visualization with adjustable limit values is now realized by the modal analysis software directly during the calculation. This makes your work easier and the quality of your results even better. Thanks to the Excel export of the vibration modes, you can use your results tailored to your needs for further analyses, evaluations and reports.

One step ahead with psychoacoustic innovations

In the field of psychoacoustics, we are introducing innovations such as additional annoyance weighting for tone content (hearing model) and specific tone content (hearing model). This allows additional weighting of results for frequencies above 1 kHz that people find particularly annoying. In addition, you can now calculate loudness analyses using the Moore-Glasberg-Schlittenlacher method. The underlying standard ISO 532-3 has been published as a draft, and the calculation is already integrated in ArtemiS SUITE Release 14.

Continuous development in all areas

During the continuous further development of the software, enhancements could also be achieved in the area of native foreign format support (ATFX), the integrated recorder, the Documentation Editor and ASCII/CSV import. In addition, you can look forward to the usual intuitive use of ArtemiS SUITE, which has become even more user-friendly thanks to visual adjustments to the user interface and extended functionalities of the HEAD Navigator.
