The versatility of HEAD acoustics’ products and the possibilities for our customers to integrate their tools and workflows seamlessly are greatly enhanced with the support of new third-party hardware and software.
HEAD acoustics delivers best-in-class front ends and software for sound quality development and sound and vibration analysis. By providing open systems, we enable our customers to truly own their data without being locked in a proprietary system. They can integrate their special analyses and jury test designs into ArtemiS SUITE and, vice versa, integrate ArtemiS SUITE seamlessly into their existing workflows and system landscapes. With the release of ArtemiS SUITE 15, they can add even more of their existing devices into one of the most advanced and versatile testing and analysis environments available today.
3rd-Party Software Interfaces
ArtemiS SUITE offers native support for the ATFX data format in addition to the existing ATFX import and export functionality, letting the users decide where and how to use their data.
Our additions in the HEAD acoustics system integration and extension facilitate secure programmatic access to the users’ own recording and analysis results, such as from MatLAB®, or the implementation of advanced test designs in our jury testing software SQala.
The interface to the award-winning Augmented Reality solution from HoloMetrix provides users with a powerful means for quick and efficient sound power measurement according to DIN EN ISO 9614 with ArtemiS SUITE.
3rd-Party Hardware Integration
ArtemiS SUITE works perfectly with our HEADlab front end. However, in some cases, customers have already been using different data acquisition systems but do not want to forego the advanced, unique, and versatile ArtemiS SUITE features. That’s why the new Artemis SUITE 15 release now supports the robust CSM high-voltage and high-speed front end modules and the DecaQ modules by MECALC directly in the ArtemiS SUITE recorder. The synchronization with HEADlab is realized via Precision Time Protocol (PTP).
CSM provides CAN bus, EtherCAT® and XCP high voltage measurement systems designed for fast, synchronous measurements and power analyses in electromobility. Using the high-speed high voltage CSM modules with a sampling rate of up to 4 MHz in combination with the HEADlab front ends allows for measuring the operating parameters of electric drives together with NVH-relevant signals. In the ArtemiS SUITE, the acoustic phenomena can then be investigated in correlation with the operating states of the drive.
The DecaQ modules by MECALC can complement the HEADlab front end with more channels and are a solution for customers who need finer channel modularity, e.g., 2 or 4 channels instead of 6, a higher input voltage range (60 V), high-speed analog inputs (5 MHz), or simply a front end fulfilling the MIL standard (vibration and shock).
By this convenient support for third-party front ends, we give our customers the opportunity to select what is best for them under any circumstances and in any precondition.
