labO2-V1 is a universally usable 2-channel equalizer for playback via headphones, speakers, subwoofers, or shakers. The 2-channel equalizer labO2-V1 has an output for electrodynamic headphones and a line output (equalizer: FF, ID, DF, USER). Therefore, labO2-V1 combines the best of both worlds: The integrated headphone equalizer of labP2 and the excitation function of labO2.
The equalizer function allows binaural recordings to be played back with the correct equalization when using the loaded filters. This aurally accurate playback allows the human auditory impression to be incorporated in the assessment of sounds. labO2-V1 is a universal rack version.
The equalizer can be used in USB mode or as a playback module in a HEADlab system. It allows for the connection of headphones or HDA IV.2 headphone amplifiers and power amplifiers for playback via speakers, subwoofers, shakers, etc.
labO2-V1 is easy and intuitive to operate, for example using the ArtemiS SUITE software or the integrated display and rotary switch.
