labP2 is a binaural headphone equalizer (equalization: FF, ID, DF, USER) that enables aurally accurate playback of binaural recordings via one or two separately equalized headphones. It can be used in USB mode with a PC or as part of a HEADlab. In addition to the mobile version, the labP2 is available as the labP2-V1 for desktop and rack applications.
labP2 can play back binaural recordings with the correct equalization. labP2 features two discrete headphone outputs that can be calibrated and equalized independently of each other. The sound playback quality with separately equalized headphones is comparable to the original sound field.
labP2 is easy and intuitive to operate, for example using either the integrated display and rotary switch or the ArtemiS SUITE analysis software.
labP2 can be combined with the labO2 subwoofer equalizer to form a synchronous playback system that correctly equalizes the headphones and subwoofer, compensates for the propagation delay between headphone and subwoofer signals and automatically adjusts the sound pressure level.
